During this period of observance, the individual commits to: one type of physical abstinence (for example smoking or soda), one type of physical discipline (like Yoga or fencing) and one form of mental curriculum (like foreign language or tarot study). The observance lasts throughout the entire zodiacal cycle of Cancer. Cancer-fast is an observance completely unique to Swirling Star Oasis.
